A gathering for working women
The Vineyard
It's not about being successful. It's about being faithful.
A Christian community for working and professional women who are healing in mind, body and spirit, and a safe place to talk about it without fear of professional judgment.
All are welcome, and you'll hear a lot about faith.
Count me inOur key principle
"In order to transform what you do, you must first transform how you think."
Dr. Tony Evans, Kingdom Agenda Study Bible, on Romans 12:2
Three places to heal
Each part of you gets its own truth to stand on.
Mind
Psychology"Be transformed by the renewing of your mind."
Romans 12:2
Healing starts with how we think. We renew the mind again and again, not just once.
Body
Biology"Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit."
1 Corinthians 6:19
Stress and overwork live in the body too. Caring for it is part of honoring God.
Spirit
Faithfulness"Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world."
1 John 4:4
Here we measure ourselves by faithfulness, not success.
The seasons of the vine
A vineyard grows in stages. So do we.
Planting
Sowing God's word in our lives.
Good soil
Making room for truth to take root.
Watering
Feeding what we planted, week after week.
Waiting
Trusting the growth we can't see yet.
Pruning
Letting go of what drains us so we can bear fruit.
Harvesting
Seeing the fruit of faithful work.
Pressing
The hard seasons that bring out what's inside.
Seasoning
Time and patience that make it rich.
"Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due time you will reap a harvest."
How we'll gather
A simple rhythm to start.
Week one
The conversation
A recorded, podcast-style talk with Amanda and guests, where psychology and theology meet.
Week two
Coffee chat
A live, informal gathering to talk through that week's themes together, with simple ground rules.
Any time
Private group
A private Facebook group to stay connected, with a new post on scripture and encouragement each week.
Dates, times and guests are still taking shape. Sign up and you'll hear first.
A note from Amanda
I've walked my own healing journey in my mind, my body and my spirit. Along the way I learned that so many of us in professional work carry things quietly, because we're afraid of how it might look.
The Vineyard is the place I wish I'd had: a safe space where women like us can talk freely, lean on God's word, and grow at a faithful pace. I'm not a therapist. Think of me as a trusted first door, and when you need more, I'll help you find licensed care.
If that sounds like something your heart needs, I'd love for you to join us.
Amanda
